Cat is being purchased for: XXX Pet Alter, ____ Breeder, ____ Show Alter, ____ Show Breeder

Purchaser agrees to the following contract and conditions:
1. Initial $100 deposit will hold your cat. All monies paid are non-refundable but are transferable to another cat. There are no cash refunds.
2. Adequate in door sanitary facilities must be provided.
3. This cat will not be able to roam the outdoors.
4. One or more scratching posts or boxes will be provided for the cat.
5. The cat will be kept free from pests such as fleas, ear-mites, fungus, worms, etc.
6. In the event that you are unable to keep your cat you agree that said cat will not be sold, traded, given away to any pet shop, laboratory or any adoption facility that has any kind of euthanasia practice. Any such facility MUST be a no kill facility. Where practical please contact us and we will try to assist you in finding a new home for your cat.
7. Buyer agrees that de-clawing this cat without express written permission from the breeder VOIDS the one-year genetic guarantee described below.
8. LIMITED WARRANTY: Kittens or cats sold by Georgia Ragdolls must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving the cat for a health check. Purchaser is responsible for vet bill. If it is found that there is any serious/life threatening health issue, purchaser has 48 hours after the veterinary exam in which to ask for a replacement cat. This request MUST accompany a letter from your veterinarian stating why the cat’s health is in question. If purchaser fails to comply with any aspect of this agreement, purchaser forfeits any rights purchaser may otherwise have.
9. GENETIC GUARANTEE: Cats or kittens bred by Georgia Ragdolls have a one-year guarantee against lethal genetic or congenital defects from the date of this contract. If cat should die or be destroyed due to a genetic defect during this period seller agrees to replace the cat with the next available cat of like quality, upon being provided with an autopsy report from a licensed, impartial veterinary pathologist. The report must state that death was unquestionably a genetic defect. Seller will not be responsible for any shipping or vet costs.
10. In the event of a sudden untimely or unexplained death, purchaser agrees to have an autopsy performed by a licensed veterinary pathologist and to forward the report to the seller. Seller, at their own discretion, may replace cat after the genetic guarantee has expired. Full medical history must be supplied to the seller in addition to the report.
11. If the cat is purchased as a pet no pedigree will be provided. Copies of parents pedigree will be provided when possible.
12. Purchaser agrees that any allergic reaction to the cat is the responsibility of the purchaser.
13. Purchaser agrees that if cat is to be shown, that seller can not guarantee how cat will do in the show ring.
14. Purchaser agrees that if cat is purchased by a cattery , that the cat will not be sold, leased or "loaned" to another cattery unless prior written permission is obtained from the breeder of said cat. Seller guarantees that this cat will produce at least one litter in 1 year of sexual maturity when bred to a fertile mate or a replacement will be provided. Shipping is purchaser’s responsibility.

Seller agrees to the following conditions:
1. Guaranteed to the best of sellers knowledge to be free from FeLV and FIP. If cat should die or be destroyed due to FIP within 1 year from date of contract, we will replace cat with like kind and quality upon receiving an autopsy report from an impartial licensed veterinary pathologist who must state that the death was unquestionably due to FIP. Seller will not be responsible for any shipping or vet costs involved in replacing cat.
2. Seller has immunized cat/kitten with FORT DODGE 3 WAY KILLED Plus_ . (see shot record} vaccination. Purchaser is responsible for age and health appropriate immunizations after purchase. We recommend vaccinations only every three years and Rabies only if the State requires it.
3. Seller is responsible for the spaying/neutering of said cat if applicable. Seller assumes all risk of surgery. If in the unlikely event that the above mentioned cat dies. All monies paid will be transferable to another cat of like kind and quality.
4. Seller agrees to provide the blue slip or registration transfer slip in a timely manner.
5. Seller and Purchaser Agrees to the LIMITED WARRANTY and GENETIC GUARANTEE explained above.
